Hello Christmas Luminaries – Christmas is Coming

Are you feeling Christmas vibes yet? If you know me you already know that I am feeling Christmas all around me. Christmas trees, ornaments and holiday festivities are in my dreams! Let’s prepare for Christmas 2026

Here we are, once again, in the month of June. 

Can you believe Christmas will be here soon. Ask me if I’ll be ready. The answer is yes! I am getting ready right now. When the holiday season comes I want to experience every moment of the Christmas miracles that await. 

Christmas shopping is at the top of my list. Here’s what I am going to buy for my holiday festivities. Everything has to be merry and bright. 

Christmas Shopping for the Holiday Season

It is now time to shop for the holiday season. My dinner theme will be white and gold. So this year I am going to purchase white and gold napkins. In addition to these beauties, I will buy gold reindeer cups for my holiday punch. They are elegant drink ware that beautifully compliments my entire holiday theme.

I’m thinking about buying white and gold dinner plates if I can find them. If not, I’ll use the plates that I purchased from Pier 1 years ago. I’ve never used them and they are stunning. They are the perfect setting for my festive, yet elegant tablescape. 

I’ll be planning my brunch and dinner  menus as well. I share those details soon. A delicious dessert must accompany dinner. Maybe I’ll bake something I’ve never made before. I’ll have to figure it out. 

I have a lovely dessert book that my daughters bought me for Christmas 5 years ago. The book is lovely with some amazing desserts. 

Next I am going to have a Christmas theme like no other. Loving red and gold I’ll have to decide if I want that to be my holiday theme this year. At the moment I am watching the Knicks and Spurs basketball game. The Spurs keep shooting three-3 pointers which means I don’t think they will win the championship this year. 

I will come back later with more Christmas traditions that I adore. The Christmas spirit is upon me and my heart and home and it’s only June. I am grateful.
