Let’s Bake a Batch of Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies This Christmas

Who loves to bake. I know I do even though I am not the very best baker on the planet. However, when Christmas rolls around I come alive and put my hands to work.
I love baking and am always ready to try a new kind of cookie dough. My favorite Christmas cookies are peanut butter and chocolate chip. For my chocolate chip cookie recipes I prefer to use dark chocolate morsels because the dark chocolate is just so good.
My favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe comes from Toll House. Their recipe is tried a million times over and I can honestly say that this is one of the best recipes out there.
Here’s the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. I went ahead and changed it a bit because I don’t like granulated sugar in my cookie and cake recipes. I only use brown sugar. Also instead of white flour I use the King Arthur flour because it is so much healthier and favorable. Add a little more vanilla extract, bake the cookies 3 minutes under the suggested recipe and you’ll be eating chocolate chip cookies all holiday season long if they last that long!

Happy Baking
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (I use King Arthur organic flour/not enriched flour)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (I use raw cane sugar or just brown sugar)
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Let’s get those cookies into the oven!
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step 3
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Thank you Nestle Toll House!
Here’s to a very Merry Christmas 2026.
