Allow the sounds of the holiday season to flow through the rooms of your home while Christmas decor lights up the walls of your home.

Prepare to receive family and friends with loving arms and may your hands warm their hearts when love blankets them.

Offer them a seat on the cozy comfy couch and cover them with the handcrafted quilt your grandmother crocheted decades ago.

Serve mouth watering canapes for your guests. They will ask you for the recipe.

This Christmas song, I must say, is aww-inspiring.

When you hear your doorbell ring and you see your neighbors standing at your front door because they hear songs of the season echoing from your living room window,  invite them into your home to enjoy some of your Christmas traditions.

Christmas Music and Sounds of the Season Make Us Sing I’ll Be Home for Christmas

Hello Christmas Luminaries,

Can you believe it’s November 2, 2024, already?

Talk about ready, I cannot wait to get the Christmas celebration started.

Someone in my Facebook Christmas group informed me that Sirius has already started playing Christmas songs early yesterday morning.

I am excited because listening to the many wonderful Christmas songs is a great way to get into the holiday spirit.

My favorite Christmas songs and recording artists are, Mariah Carey and Baby Please Come Home. I also love Josh Groban’s rendition of Celebrate Me Home. How about Dean Martin, the Crooner, who sings amazingly when he belts out, A Marsh Mallow World.

And then there are the tall and talented group called the Temptations who come from the Motown Family, my family. We cannot forget their special rendition of Silent Night. They sing so beautifully with Eddie Kendricks on lead vocals.

I also love Celine when she so beautifully sings O Holy Night. She and Josh have my heart whenever I hear them sing so sensationally.

Christmas Shopping, Wrapping and Baking

Can you believe that I have started my Christmas shopping. There are about six more gifts that I have to purchase and I will be finished. The goal is for me to have my shopping done by August 30.

Here’s how I shop. First, I look for sales. I also try my best to get free shipping on every item that I purchase, but it has to be worth it. Sometimes you have to use more money in order to get free shipping. If I have to buy something that is of no use to me just to get free shipping then it doesn’t make sense for me to use more money just to get free shipping if that makes any sense.

Let’s Go Christmas Shopping

My youngest son is a huge Lakers fan. He loves Kobe so every year at Christmas I try my best to find Lakers gear for him. This year I have found some really good sales.

Fanatics, NBA Store and Lakers stores are my go to for finding the best items. I usually shop for sweatpants, sweatshirts and hats.

This year I signed up with Nike and have found some unbelievable sales. Nike’s quality is top notch and I love how they design their clothes. My son loves anything Nike. Their clothing is the finest quality and they last forever.

Next up on my Christmas list is my oldest son. It’s extremely hard to buy for him. He loves a really good smelling cologne. This year I’ll get him a nice scented cologne that’s not hard on my nose! LOLLLL

Christmas gift cards are also a nice gift. I’m thinking about getting him a few gift cards as well.

And then there’s my two daughters. I have yet to decide on their gifts. I will have it figured out by the weekend.

Christmas Shopping For All My Loves

I will purchase a few small items for my husband. He’s not hard to please whatsoever. Maybe a nice cologne or some sweatpants, but I’ll see what’s out there for him.

When Saturday rolls around I’ll have a Christmas wrapping party all by myself. I’ll bake some brownies and enjoy the beautiful ambiance. I’m getting an early jump start on Christmas this year. I want to be able to sit back and relax during the months of November and December. I am going to need a little me time to regroup and just enjoy the Christmas holidays.
