The Holidays Delivered Joy and Goodness

Christmas 2025 Was Full of Goodness and Light

The Holidays Delivered Joy and Goodness

Hello Christmas Luminaries,

How was your Christmas? Was it merry and bright. Was it all that you hoped it would be?

I hope your Christmas was beyond blessed. Mine was blessed, bright and beautiful. With so much to be grateful for, my family and I broke bread and enjoyed a my usual Christmas Eve dinner. On Christmas Day I relaxed with a thankful heart for my family, friends and my home. We had more than enough food for Christmas Day dinner.

Is it okay to say that the food was great and the company was lovely. We ate dinner around 6 p.m.

The only thing that was missing from dinner was a pound cake. My husband promised to do the baking, but he never got around to it! You can best believe I won’t depend on him to bake the pound cake this year for Christmas because I need to have pound cake for dessert. I love ice cream and cake. Although I don’t eat it often it would have topped off the meal.

What did you bake for Christmas Eve dinner? Did you have dessert to go with coffee or tea?

I certainly hope that you had a lovely Christmas.

As I prepare to countdown to Christmas 2026, I know exactly what I am going to have for dinner this year. I’m going to try something totally new and different for my Christmas Eve dinner. You may have heard of it. It’s called the feast of the seven fishes.

Here’s a terrific article that tells you all about it. It’s a great read and I can’t wait until Christmas Eve to cook this amazing special meal.

Have a Joyful Christmas Season

embrace the Spirit of Christmas with All Your Heart

Fall in love with Christmas again and again.

There will always be joyful moments when you believe in the Spirit Christmas. Fully embracing the holiday season delivers an abundance of love, peace and joy.

Let’s have a sincere conversation about Christmas and its wonder.

July will soon be days of the past. Days that came so quickly and departed before evening, you will say so long July and welcome in the hot days of August.

August will most likely make its way onto our daily list of all the things we must do to prepare for the next holiday which is Labor Day in September.

Meanwhile, families will be getting ready for school to start.  The Jersey shore, often homes to thousands of people for a brief moment of time, will be a reflection of memories made.

And then thoughts of the holiday season will come to clothe us with elation and we smile.

We will see visions of families gathering, sharing meals and enjoying the holiday season.

Extending your heart as you open your hands, you give.

Giving is an everyday occurrence for all of us.

Sharing all of the abundance that we have makes the holiday season a special time that we look forward to year after year.

True and sincere words are spoken to the hearts of those whose lives are in our presence throughout this joyous time.

Embracing the miracles that come to blanket our hearts and homes we give thanks for being granted our heart’s desire.

We also give thanks for the wonderful abundant blessings that we experience all year long.

And now  champagne Christmas opens the door to the Douglas fir tree to come in to adorn our homes in splendor. A fully bloomed Christmas tree whose thirst must be quenched from the moment it brings in wonder.

With intentions of decorating this beautiful baby from top to bottom with white lights it will bring in warmth, smiles and hope. A hope for a promising new way of thinking that takes us to a place of new beginnings; our hearts.

Gifts wrapped, Christmas songs sang and delicious food to warm our souls are some of the traditions to be shared..

Hope-filled, the renewing of the mind delivers joy that radiates through the windows of homes.

Stars and glow from the moon and expressions that light up every Christmas tree ornament will be felt and all shall be illuminated.

Stories will be written and peace will never leave.

This new life has all the splendor and joy that helps to define the meaning of believing.

Believing in the miracles and the amazing moments that we share with family, friends and those close to us.

May all the days of the holiday season be the way you see and how you live and enjoy it.

In conclusion, enjoy the holiday season and embrace the joy.

Merry Christmas to all.

Decorating My Home for Christmas

How I Decorate My House for the Christmas Season

Warming Homes with Beautiful Christmas Decorations and Amazing Ideas

With a Jingle Bell here, a Merry Christmas there and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, I think we all can agree that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!

It is no surprise that many stores have lined their shelves with bright and beautiful Christmas decorations. I love seeing the illuminating colors that so remind me of what this joyous holiday season represents. For me it represents love.

Walking into various stores and seeing their lovely Christmas displays warm my heart. My spirit comes more alive during this wonderful time of the year.

Every year at Christmas I find myself spending quiet time at HomeGoods, TJMaxx, HomeSense and now Burlington. I have a new Burlington in my neighborhood and I can’t wait to get there.

I already have my camera ready to record the wonders of the season and as my eyes scroll through all of the breathtaking decor I smile. I cannot wait to start decorating my home. This is an exciting time for me because I get to pull out my lovely Christmas decorations to decorate every inch of my home

Christmas Decor Starts in the Heart

Warming Homes with Beautiful Christmas Decorations

First, I start in my living room. I have a host of table runners so I start with those to compliment the decorations that I’ll be adding. Each piece is special to me which means they all have a special place in my home. I try my best to coordinate the table runners to ensure an easy on the eye kind of flow throughout.

After placing my table runners on each table (there are 3) I then begin adding Christmas bulbs. These Christmas ornaments of red, gold and purple are my favorite colors. They have been my Christmas theme for many years now. I love all of these colors because they deeply resonate with every inch of me and how I want my home to look and feel.

Next I will be adding my small collection of Santas. I have a red clothed Santa Claus and a blue-coat clothed Santa Claus. One Santa will go on my sofa table and the other on my coffee table. These will be greeted by my precious family of angels and elves. Most of my pieces have a lot of red in them which really makes my living room stand out and pop with color with subtle touches of Christmas surroundings them all.

Being able to use my imagination in a great way has helped me design a unique Christmas tray that consist of more Christmas ornaments and lights. When I designed my first tray almost 15 years ago it immediately became one of my very special Christmas designs that I have ever created. I need to do more like this and I think I will this year. I am not an arts and crafts person, but I’m going to try to incorporate some new ideas which I see in my mind.

Moving on, I have large red Christmas balls that I hang in my picture window every year. I must keep the flow of Christmas throughout my home and these also add the perfect touch. I remember one year the delivery guy delivered oil to my home and he said he had never seen such a beautiful window display before. I thought that was so nice of him to notice and to tell me that he loved my Christmas decor.

As I type this i just thought about making some Christmas crafts to see how they come out. I’ll keep you posted.

Christmas Just Ain’t Christmas Without Red and Gold Decor

Another one of my Christmas decorations that I adore is my gold reindeer. Unfortunately, he was broken and now I am on the hunt to find another one. If I can find another gold reindeer I’ll buy two or three to place them around my living room and in my picture window. I think reindeer are beautiful and they speak Christmas to my heart.

Because I decorate every inch of my home from my front door to my kitchen door, my two red wreaths will go up as well. One will go on the front door inside of my house and the other I will place on my sofa table. My Christmas lights will be another extra added attraction to my home’s decor.

There will also be about 4 candy dishes all around my home. I usually have Hershey Kisses, Spearmint and Peppermint candy and I’ll do the same this time around. My family loves sweets. My famous dark chocolate brownies and chocolate chip cookies will be snuggled up in a beautifully designed Christmas canister.

And then there are my Scented Christmas candles will give my rooms a soft subtle scent that adds just the right amount of loveliness in my home.

Now, what about you; how will you decorate your home for Christmas this year? Are you planning on using the same theme as last year or will you be doing something you’ve never done before? However you decide to decorate your home for Christmas this year I know you are going to make it great and look amazing.

Warming homes with beautiful Christmas decorations is an amazing way to welcome in Christmas and all the love that Christmas brings.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

The True Meaning of Christmas

The Meaning of the Christmas Season Fills My Home

The True Meaning of Christmas

The true meaning of Christmas resides in my home and fills my heart with love year round.

For me and my lovely family Christmas is warmth, love and comfort on the couch. Nestled deep into the most comfortable couch situated in the perfect place which is in my living room and handcrafted with brilliant design elements that make my couch a comfy place, I love to snuggle on the sofa with an abundance of soft pillows, quilts and blankets surrounding me.

There Will Always Be a Story About About Christmas and What It Means To Me

Christmastime means embracing the holiday season with a real sense of joy! This is the same joy that brings many miracles that teaches us the importance of loving one another. I love this awesome feeling that hugs me tightly morning, noon and night and never lets me go.

This wonderful feeling moves me with compassion. It also clothes me with inspiration and when this happens I quickly grab my pen and notebook and the writing session begins.

It is then that I pour out my heart to write short stories of Christmas love. This feeling is accompanied by beautiful Christmas poems.

This feeling then takes me into my kitchen where I find myself opening.a box of Ghirardelli Dark Brownie Chocolate Mix, my favorite brownie mix. The dark chocolate lends a touch of warm for my spirit and love for my stomach. Most of the time you won’t find a brownie left after they’ve cooled down. My family gobbles them up so fast that I find myself baking more brownies the next day during the Christmas Season.

During our baking sessions it is only appropriate for Christmas music to chime in followed by my singing, dancing and with tears in the midst.

One of my favorite Christmas is O Holy Night. Josh Groban is one of my favorite Christmas singers and along with his rendition of Celebration Me Home, my house is never dry. Tears fall and with good reason.

Does Christmas make you feel warm and fuzzy all over? Can you describe what Christmas means to you and the feeling that flows into your life, heart and home?

I hope you’re getting to be warmed and I hope you enjoy all the days leading up to the most wonderful time of the year.

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Christmas Eve In Our Home

A Toast To Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve in our home

Christmas Eve In Our Home

It’s Christmas Eve and our home is festive and overflowing with love. The fireplace is warm and we are all sitting in comfy-cozy.

Dinner was delicious and dessert scrumptious. The dark chocolate brownies warmed our palettes and hot cocoa comforted every inch of our spirits.

Andy Williams sang to us and now it’s time to watch Home Alone before we all head up to bed.

Reflecting on Christmas past, we are always thankful for all the times that we gathered together to create those memorable moments that we love.

We love this very special time of year. Christmas illumines our hearts and clothes us with love. Forever grateful we will be.

As the night slowly comes to a close, we remember those who are no longer here in physically, but always near in memory.

It’s time for bed now. Christmas Eve is quiet. It is serenity and peace sprinkled with good cheer.

We kneel to pray to thank God for this beautiful day that has now turned into night. Never in darkness we are surrounded by the Light that makes Christmas so very special both day and night.

Merry Christmas to all and to all be blessed by the Light.
