Hello Christmas Beauties,

Can you believe that May 2025 is just down the road and about to make its presence known to the world. When May does arrive that means we have only 7 months before Christmas adorns the walls and living rooms of our homes.

Will you be ready you think? I will be as my Christmas plans are already being written, etched in stone and cemented evermore.

My plans first became a thought and then a vision. They started in my mind and I penned them to paper immediately. Excited? That would be me. I honestly get excited about anything that pertains to this miraculous holiday.

And you know something, because Christmas comes so quickly I like to prepare early for the holiday season.

Now I know that it’s close to the end of April which for me means it’s time to make my plans for Christmas once again. As Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz says, people come and go so quickly here! Well, let me tell you, I feel the same way about Christmas.

I start my decorating in October now because I want to enjoy the decorations and Christmas tree as long as I can because time does indeed fly right on by.

May comes and I often find myself Christmas shopping.

Some of you Christmas Luminaries are familiar with QVC’s Christmas in July event and you cannot wait to shop. Include me on that list! I look forward to seeing what new products will be presented 2025.

We all need to have our holiday plans in place so that we can relax and enjoy the holidays. A stress-free Merry Christmas season is the goal here.

Hello Christmas Lovers,

It’s time to create a little whimsy for the upcoming holiday season.

In my opinion it’s never too early to prepare for Christmas. I’m already over the moon just thinking about all the things I plan on doing this year for the most wonderful time of the year

Let’s get started with all things elegant and beautiful for Christmas dinner from tablecloths, serve ware, plates and silverware.

First, I’m going to design a stunning tablescape. I’m lookin for dinnerware. I want something a little more elegant than my Santa Claus plates that I have. I’ll also be searching for silverware. If I can find some really nice gold forks that would be great. I’ll check Macy’s to see if they have the silverware I imagine seeing on my table.

Secondly, I’ll be on the hunt for a new Christmas tablecloth. The one that I used last year is kind of worn out so I’ll definitely buy a new one for 2025.

I already have beautiful napkins so I’ll pull those out.

The 3rd thing I’ll need will be glasses with gold trim around the rim. I have no idea as to who may have them, but I’ll be looking online this week.

Last on my list is name cards. I’ll create and design those myself and hope I get it right! LOL.

So my Christmas theme this year will be elegance for the Eve of Christmas as well as on Christmas day.

The Reddest Ruby for Christmas

The reddest ruby for Christmas is a story for all to read and enjoy.

My two best friends and I made plans to go Christmas shopping. It was Christmas Eve and I wanted to spend the day with Jenny and Amanda. We have been best friends ever since my husband and I moved into the neighborhood 7 years ago. They both had two children, but I was pregnant with my first child and we were all excited. I felt like this was going to be one of my greatest Christmas gifts I could receive. Having a baby in the holiday season.

So off to Neiman Marcus we went. It was cold and clouds covered the sky. It was my kind of day. I absolutely love the cold weather.

We gave the keys to the kind gentleman working the valet station and made a beeline into Neiman. Amanda, Jenny and I went shopping confident that we were going to find the most thoughtful Christmas gifts that we set out to buy.

Jenny immediately found her mom’s gift and Amanda bought two gifts for her hubby. I, on the other hand, took my time looking for a special gift for myself.

Walking through Neiman I decided to head on over to the Louis Vuitton store because I knew I would find that very special Christmas gift to go under my beautifully decorated tree.

Amanda, Jenny and I walked around LV until I found the perfect pocketbook. It had my name written all over it. I purchased it with love.

As the three of us sat waiting for my handbag to be monogrammed with my three initials, GTB, we sat eating macarons and drinking sparkling water that the store manager kindly offered us. The presentation of the macarons and sparkling water was lovely and we felt like Christmas queens.

After all, it was Christmas and we wanted to enjoy every second of the season.

When the manager brought my beautifully packaged gift we went to a few other stores window browsing.

We walked through the mall window shopping and had a ball talking and laughing. The mall was merry and bright and filled with Christmas shoppers from one end of the mall to the other. I loved seeing how happy the people were. Christmas has a wonderful way of pouring out love from the hearts of people everywhere.

Now time was quickly passing and winding down as it always does when you are in the company of love.

Jenny, Amanda and I were hungry and it was time for us to have an early dinner and make our way home afterwards. I was tired and felt I needed to nap.

We left the mall and went to Capital Grille for dinner. The food was incredible. I had lobster Mac and Cheese. Talk about delicious. Jenny and Amanda shared a plate of large crab cakes and their sides. They said it was more than delish.

Right after my best friends and I engaged in an awesome conversation and amazing food we headed home. We had a fantastic time. Three close friends sharing, spending and showing love one to another is simply an awesome way to spend part of the holiday season and we appreciate one another and our friendship more than we could ever express with words.

Amanda, Jenny and I hugged and they headed home.

Now that we were all home safe and sound it was time for me to relax and enjoy a warm cup of chamomile tea. My husband was on his way home and I wanted his company for the rest of the evening.

As I sat comfy and cozy awaiting my husband’s arrival I fell asleep. It wasn’t too long after I fell asleep that my husband came home and planted a warm kiss from his lips to my rosy red cheek. What a lovely way to wake up.

Not long after my husband’s sweet warm kiss woke me up we sat talking for a few minutes before we turned on Home Alone and fell asleep not long thereafter.

When we woke up I gave my husband his Christmas gifts and I opened mine from him.

I still had another gift to open which was my Christmas present to myself.

Looking for my lovely gift I noticed that the packaging was completely different. However, I didn’t say a word, but I must say that I was scratching my head puzzled. I opened my gift that I bought from the LV store to show my husband.

As I opened the gift I even noticed that the pocketbook had a little more weight to it than it did at the store. I opened my beautiful bag and found another gift inside. There was the most stunning red gift box inside my handbag. I nervously, but excitedly removed the gift box from my LV bag.

My husband said, Merry Christmas beautiful! Open your gift. When I opened the gift box my eyes saw the reddest Ruby ring I had ever seen in my life. It was, indeed, the reddest Ruby to shine in my eyes.

The day had dawned and Christmas was shining through the window of our comfortable living room. My husband and I enjoyed the day. I made brunch and then we had Christmas dinner. By the end of the night we were on our way to the hospital.

Little Baby Cyn was born. She was fine and healthy. My husband and I looked at each and said Merry Christmas. Love has come into the world. We are still smiling.

Christmas Decor That Makes Any Room More Beautiful Than Before

Christmas wreath on my front door is one of those decorations that I look forward to hanging every year.

Every year in October I hang my beautiful wreath on my front door. You see October is the month when I begin decorating my home for the Christmas holiday.

More than a few years ago I decided to change that tradition. Instead of hanging my Christmas wreath on the outside of my door I put it on the inside of my door facing my living room. Do you know what happened? It wowed the entire living room. I should have done this years ago. It just makes sense to hang it there. I thought to myself, the wreath is lovely and I should enjoy seeing it all season long every time I enter into my living room.

The wreath complements my other Christmas decorations and everything flows so beautifully.

Where do you hang your Christmas wreath every year? Have you ever thought about placing it on the inside of your front or back door?

Maybe I’ll buy another wreath this year and hang it on the outside of my front door. I’ll see though. Having a really pretty Christmas wreath on my door is like a Christmas gift everyone should have in their own.

You know Christmas will be here, again, before long and I’ll be ready so that I can sit back, relax and enjoy the festivities.

Christmas is still lingering in my home and I love it!

I know it’s February and Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but forever Christmas remains with me.

Whenever I think about Christmas and all the joy that comes along with this special time of the year I smile. I smile because I love how the holiday season hugs me.

Furthermore, I love the shopping, baking, caroling and singing.

For me, Christmastime brings hope to my heart and home. There is a special sensation that enfolds every inch of my being during the holidays and I embrace this feeling every year with gratitude.

Unwrapping gifts of hope, peace, joy and good cheer keep me uplifted and amazed.

Christmas 2025 will be celebrated with more family traditions, thankfulness and a whole lot of wonder accompanied by beauty and splendor.

Whatever your plans are for the Christmas holidays plan accordingly and get ready early. This way you can sit back, rest and relax and enjoy the celebration!

The Christmas season will be upon us before long and we want to make sure that we enjoy every second of the most wonderful time of the year.

The Merriest Little Christmas Gift from St. Nick

A Personal Delivery from Santa’s Hands to My Heart On Christmas Eve – A Precious Christmas Story

Curled up with one of my favorite books of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee and my body robed with a soft warm cozy blanket I felt myself slowly drifting in a beautiful dream.

I gave myself permission to nap for a little while because I knew that my Christmas list was on my dining room table waiting for me. I had so much to do, but I also needed some me time.

As I lay sleeping I heard a sound downstairs. My family had been sleeping for a few hours now which is why I decided to relax, rest and read. The three R’s help to restore my mind, spirit and body.

All of a sudden I heard the sound of footsteps. It startled me at first, but for a good reason I welcomed those footsteps into my home because I knew who they belonged to.

I slowly got up from my bed, folded my blanket and made my way downstairs. When I walked into my living room, there he was. It was Santa. He looked at me and smiled. I walked over to him and gave him a good old fashioned hug.

Santa Came Bearing Gifts As He Delivered A Sac Full of Smiles and One of Those Gifts Was for Me

His belly was soft as a pillow and round as a soccer ball. His stomach was filled to the brim. I tickled his tummy and I heard a HO HO HO Merry Christmas quietly echoing from the depths of his soul. Talk about adorable, Santa was so very sweet.

Santa was busy. He had so much to do. I talked with him as he stuffed the kids stockings. I went into his big red velvet sack and helped him to put the Christmas gifts under our flocked tree.

After his work was done I made Santa a hot cup of cocoa. I also gave him a slice of the most moist red velvet cake I had ever baked. He enjoyed it all to the very last red sweet crumb.

Good Old St. Nick Is the Giver of the Best Christmas Gifts Ever

Santa then asked me if he could take a quick little nap before he departed. I offered him a fluffy pillow and large fleece blanket. I covered him up all the way to his shoulders to make sure he was nice, comfy, cozy and warm. I placed his black leather boots by the fireplace because I wanted to make sure that his feet would be warm when he put his boots back on.

While Santa slept I went back into the kitchen and cleaned the dishes.

It wasn’t long thereafter that I heard Santa awake. I walked into the room and Santa was refreshed and ready to go. I was a little sad to see him leave, but I knew he had work to do.

Together we fed his reindeer before taking flight into the night. The evening was cold, but Santa was warm and his belly full.

Before departing, Santa Claus gave me another tight hug and wished me well before he entered his sleigh.

He said Merry Christmas have a good night.

I watched him fly high in the sky until I could see him no more.

I closed my door and went into my living room to sit for a while.

Looking at my beautifully decorated Christmas tree I noticed a big red box with a white glittering bow with my name on it. I opened it up. Inside was the prettiest of the prettiest……………………

Create in your own mind whatever you see in that red box that Santa gifted you and all your days will transformed a little every day.

How I Welcomed the Holiday Season into my Home

Welcoming New Christmas Holiday Traditions for 2025 and beyond.

Christmas 2024 was very special to me. All of my Christmases are dear to my heart.

Last year I started a new Christmas tradition and I am happy that I did. You see, Christmas comes around quickly and I want to enjoy every second leading up to the most wonderful time of the year.

So when the Spirit of Christmas spoke to my heart I leaped for joy and began decorating my home in October.

Instead of waiting until November 1st to decorate my home for the holiday season, I got started super early. I was so excited to get the Christmas festivities underway I began decorating October 1st. Yes, I sure did. Talk about elated I couldn’t wait to fill every inch of my beautiful home with wonder and splendor.

New Christmas Traditions for My Heart, Home and My Family

I put up my Christmas tree and placed three ornaments on it; one purple and two red baubles. I didn’t feel the need to cover my tree with an array of ornaments because the lights on the tree were more than enough to make me and my family smile. It was beautiful just as it was. Those bright-enough white lights gave my living room a soft warm glow that said welcome to all who enter.

After I was finished with the tree I decorated my coffee and sofa tables with my usual stunning red and gold decor. I never tire of using these same decorations year after year. They glitter and sparkle which makes them so very beautiful.

I Love Celebrating the Christmas Season While Creating Special Memories with Family

Every night around 5 pm I’d sit in the midst of inspiration enjoying whimsy and wonder as they blanketed every area of my first floor.

With the lamps turned off and my deep red Christmas hurricanes all lit up, a warm sensation would clothe me in love and I embraced each and every moment of the beauty.

Even though Christmas has come it never leaves. I still see Christmas miracles all around me and I’m grateful for them all. The holiday season has always been and always will be filled with unspeakable joy that warms my heart and home forever.

Welcoming new Christmas holiday traditions is a great to keep the holiday season special.

Best Store for Christmas Trees

In 2023 I decided to buy my first artificial Christmas tree. My husband was tired of sweeping up needles that constantly fell from our lovely tree. Without fail our beautiful hardwoods in our living room would be almost completely covered in needles from our Christmas tree.

I vividly remember the one year when we waited until the last minute to go shopping for a Christmas tree only to discover that they were completely sold out everywhere we went. Home Depot had a few trees left, but they were not worth bringing home.

On our way home we saw a sign nestled in the grass that said we have Christmas trees. My husband pulled into the driveway and met the homeowner who was working in his driveway. We inquired about the trees and the homeowner showed us the path to the trees. He said that the trees were $30.

Hubby and I got back in the car and drove to the trees. After looking at about 3 trees I told my husband that the trees were dead. They were dry and the needles were brown. They desperately needed water and tender loving care.

I got back in the car, but hubby insisted a finding a tree. He found one and drove back to the homeowner’s driveway. He paid for the tree, placed the tree on top of the car and we drove home with needles falling everywhere.

When we got home my husband tried his best to put the tree in the stand. It would not fit. At this point, needles had covered my chestnut colored hardwood floors.

Desperately trying to make the trunk of the Christmas tree fit into that stand, hubby sawed it down. It still would not fit. Needless to say, but I’ll say it anyway, we had to toss that tree. $30 was a lot to give away, but it was okay because I think the man who we bought the tree from really needed the money and we were happy to give it to him!

Any how getting back to why we bought our very first artificial tree.

My daughter is an interior designer. She gets all kinds of offers from home decorator stores and she told me the story behind her beautifully flocked tree.

This gorgeous Christmas tree that covered a space in her large foyer was amazing. I really like that tree so I politely asked her where she bought it and she said it was free from King of Christmas. She told me that I should buy one because they were having a sale. She loved her tree and I could see why. It was stunning and the quality was sensational.

I immediately went to their website and found the perfect tree for hubby and me. 2024 was the second year of enjoying this beautifully flocked tree. The lights were just as bright as they were when we first received it. I paid a great price for it too. I call it a bargain because I paid a great price for it. The quality of the tree was superior.

An Oxford Street Christmas

My Heart Will Always Belong To Christmas

Miles away from my childhood home, but always in my heart and home at Christmas. It’s an Oxford Street Christmas.

Growing up in West Philadelphia, I had the most phenomenal childhood .

I had amazing friends who easily became family. We loved each other with a love so powerful that it followed us into adulthood.

We played together 7 days a week and we went to school together enjoying every second of our time creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Looking back on those glory days I smile.

Reflecting on those beautiful days that changed my life I can’t help but think about Christmastime in my home.

My childhood home was spilling over with an abundance of love. I was blessed with 2 awesome parents who blessed our home with a whole lot of love.

Morning, noon and night I deeply felt their love permeating throughout our home.

A day did not go by that I didn’t feel the true love that my mom and dad showed me and my siblings. Home cooked meals, caramel pound cakes, an immaculate house and love constantly showed to our neighbors taught me how to love. I took that love with me when I got married. This kind of love can make an enormous difference when it comes to life and Christmas.

Being clothed with such warmth and comfort my parents made sure that my 3 brothers and sister had the most wonderful Christmases every year. Talk about the most wonderful time of the year, we had great fun decorating our home for the Christmas holiday. From the porch to the living room our Christmas decor was sensational and I mean spectacular.

I’ll never forget the one year that my sister and I decorated our 8 foot Christmas tree. It was gorgeous. Our neighbor, Rusty, came over to visit and he said he had never seen a tree that beautiful. It touched my heart that he noticed all the work that into decorating our Christmas tree.

The Spirit of Christmas Lives in My Home

Now that I have a family of my own I make sure to keep the Christmas Spirit alive in my home.

My children love our Christmas decor. Every year I decorate with a special Christmas theme. My Christmas color theme for 2024 was red and gold. For Christmas 2025 my theme will be silver and gold with angels and gold reindeer if I can find them. I looked for them last year, but could not find exactly what I wanted.

Every year I start out early in search of Christmas items that I want. I also shop early for family members. My son is a big time Lakers fan so I’ll be shopping for sales from the NBA Store. I always find great buys.

My daughters and I also make plans to do create those very special memories that we can all pass on to their very small children.

When I tell you that I look forward to the Christmas Season it is because of the love that my parents blessed me with at Christmas and all year long. What a special time of year it was for me and remains to this day.

The Spirit of Christmas rests upon my heart and can be lovingly felt throughout my home all year long.
